Turkish Cotton Towels / Throws Care Instructions
WASHING TURKISH COTTON TOWELS / THROWS:
One of the best characteristics of Turkish cotton throws / towels is that they get softer and more absorbent with every wash due to the cotton's natural long fibers. Because of this, your Beyond Borders Throw Blanket Turkish Towel will age nicely. Follow the washing instructions below to give your Turkish throw towel a long and lush life.
- Machine wash cold on delicate cycle.
- Do not bleach.
- Hang air dry.
- Do not iron.
- Do not dry clean.
A quick side note... Since they are made from 100% cotton, some shrinkage will occur under heat. If your preference is to keep the full original size of your Beyond Borders Turkish Throw Towel, machine washing them on delicate in cold water and hang dry or tumble dry low would be recommended. However, If a little shrinkage is your desired outcome, you're free to wash them however you please!
HOW TO FIX LOOSENED/UNTIED TASSELS:
If one of the tassels on your Turkish throws/towels becomes loosened or untied within time, no worries...fixing them is a breeze.
- For the braided tassels, you'll need to take the threads and separate them into two equal parts, then, clockwise, twist both parts around each other and tie a knot at the end.
- If they're not braided, bunch all the loose threads together and tie a knot at the end.
